The following tips will help you get the most out of your CX membership!

Member TipsProgram Reservations

Electronic Reservations: Must be made by midnight prior to the day of the event. You will receive e-mail confirmation that your reservation has been received.

  • We encourage you to make reservations online through the Programs and Events link.
  • Not sure if you've registered for a program? Once you've logged in, a red diamond on the Calendar indicates that we have received your reservation.
  • You can add the event to your Outlook calendar from the Member side as well.

Phone Reservations: May be made up to an hour before the event at our Downtown facility and by 9:30 a.m. the day of the event at The CX South to ensure adequate food and seating.

Program Cancellations

Members may cancel reservations for programs up to an hour before the event by e-mail to richandra@centralexchange.org or by calling the office at 816-471-7560.

If you cannot attend a program and cancel prior to the event, there is no charge; however, a $15 no-show fee will be assessed if program reservations are not cancelled.

You are unable to cancel your reservations through our online system at this time.

Dining at Cafe 1020

Hours: 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday through Friday

Dining Reservations: We encourage you to make luncheon reservations online or by phone at 816-471-7560, ext. 10.

You'll love entertaining colleagues and friends at the Cafe 1020 – an easy and delicious downtown dining option!

  • Simply charge to CX account: You may charge meals in the dining room to your CX account. Simply sign your name and membership number to the guest check. The charge will appear on the next month's statement.
  • Alternative payment options: You may pay for lunch using a credit card (AMEX, MC or Visa), cash or check.
  • Gratuity: Your bill will include a 20% gratuity charge.
  • Guest payment: If you know that your guest intends to pay, please let us know when you make your reservation and we will present the bill accordingly. We can also present more than one ticket.
  • Receipt: The lower portion of the guest check may be used as a receipt.
  • Special dietary needs: We can accommodate special dietary needs. Please notify us 24 hours in advance.

Parking

CX Downtown

Your membership includes validated parking once each month at one of two parking garages.

  • Ten Central Car Park is just north of The Central Exchange between Central and Broadway on 10th Street.(five spots are reserved on the first level of this garage.  If they are occupied, look for first available parking).
  • The Poindexter Garage is one block north of The Central Exchange at 9th and Central

Metered parking is available on the street and additional garage space is located under Barney Allis Plaza (between 12th and 14th Streets and Central and Wyandotte).

CX South

Ample parking is available at this facility. For your convenience, park on the south side of the building where you enter the building on the second level, where The CX is located.
