Target: High potential women leaders, leaders in new positions, one of the first or among few women in leadership in their organization.

This year-long program offered by The Central Exchange and presented by Right Management, develops leadership capabilities by building on personal strengths and developing and implementing a plan to fill gaps and take participants to the next level in their careers. Each session focuses on a different leadership competency and includes group and facilitated discussions and practical strategies to apply in your own organization.

The next series begins May 2008.
The group meets monthly from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Enrollment is limited.

Strategies for the 21st Century Professional

Experts share advice to assist you in your fundraising efforts, enable you to work fundraising into your schedule without taking away from other responsibilities and increase private dollar donation.

Leadership Forum

The Leadership Forum offers interactive meetings to resolve real life, real time leadership issues. Participants have leadership roles in organizations or are responsible for getting results through the efforts of others. The format is based on what participants want, and is always confidential. Books on leadership topics are used as discussion starters, but it is not necessary to have the book in order to participate. Currently the group is discussing The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader by John Maxwell.

Board service is an opportunity to enrich the community by sharing talents. The fallout of course is personal growth – which includes everything from the satisfaction of supporting a worthy cause to professional connections, to developing business acumen and leadership skills. This series is designed to provide skills necessary for not-for-profit board service.

Women at the Leading Edge
Dynamic Leadership Development and Self-Awareness Program

Target: Successful women at any point in their careers, ready to move to deeper levels of personal and professional mastery and expand their understanding and use of power as leaders.

Re-examine leadership skills and set life-changing goals in this seven-part program, now in its 17th year. Facilitator Dr. Linda Moore focuses on the psychological underpinnings of leadership. Participants explore and develop leadership abilities, and determine how and where they can apply their skills to make a difference for themselves and others in their professional and personal lives.



The 2008 class of Women at the Leading Edge is full and applications are no longer being accepted.

The next Women at the Leading Edge series will start February, 2009.
