The CX DowntownThe Central Exchange Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization formed in 1999. The Foundation has several functions including presenting educational programs designed to promote the personal and professional growth and development of women, and fostering community service and business leadership by women.

Funds from The Central Exchange Education Foundation help underwrite the following program series presented at The Central Exchange: Focus on Business, Women at the Leading Edge, Women Leaders, Professional Development, Arts & Issues, CEO Series, Women of Color, Women's Health, Leading through Board Service and Emerging Leaders. In addition, the Foundation presents an annual leadership conference, The Central Exchange Women’s Lyceum.

Current officers of the Foundation are: President, Kay Johnson; Vice President and Treasurer, Yvonne Kean; Barbara Fay; Cathy Goodger; Jan Leonard and Susan McGreevy. Central Exchange Board Chair Valerie Bonebrake, and Central Exchange President Ellen D'Amato are ex officio members of the board. The board meets three or four times a year.

Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible and members are encouraged to support the organization either by attending the annual fundraising event or by making a donation.
