Community Involvement

Community involvement has been a long-held tenet of Central Exchange. Through a variety of programs, committees and task force groups, you have the opportunity to learn about and act upon issues inside and outside our community.

America's Creative Crossroads

In conjunction with the new branding concept developed by the Kansas City Area Development Council (KCADC), CX is hosting a series of programs on Kansas City, America's Creative Crossroads.  This platform will promote our city as authentic, innovative and inviting to corporations and talent looking to relocate to this vibrant area. We'll hear from local entrepreneurs who have "made it" on the national stage, area business leaders who are delivering solutions worldwide. and area artists who are receiving national acclaim.

CX Community Outreach

Volunteer, work with fellow CX members and make a positive impact on the community!
In response to members' requests for volunteer and community outreach programs, the Strategic Initiatives Committee has selected two organizations to partner with in 2012:
One KC for Women and Young Women on the Move.

One KC for Women

This includes Women’s Employment Network, Women’s Business Center and Women’s Capital  Connection. All three offer women options to help them achieve personal and professional sustainability.  There are a variety of opportunities in which you can interact directly with One KC for Women clients.

Political Talk Series

Offered during certain years as appropriate, this series presents programs geared to the discussion of local and national political issues.
