Application Process:
- Please submit your application with 2 letters of reference and bio or resume by July 16. Application and additional materials may be submitted by e-mail, fax or U.S. mail.
- All applicants will be notified at the beginning of August whether or not they have been selected for an interview.
- Interviews will take place during August.
- Six candidates will be accepted.
- Membership to the 2010 AHEAD class begins September 1.
AHEAD is a Central Exchange endowment fund established in honor of 2000 Woman of the Year and originating member, Adele Hall. The AHEAD program enables The Central Exchange to broaden its membership base, reaching women who may not otherwise have the resources to join. Through Central Exchange programs and connections, AHEAD members discover new leadership and professional skills to enhance their careers.
Each year, a group of exceptional women are selected for CX memberships who do not currently have the financial resources to participate as Central Exchange members. This two-year endowed membership offers participants full exposure to all that our organization offers. The initiation fee and first year of dues are fully subsidized by the endowment fund. In the second year, membership dues are partially subsidized by this fund.
As a self-directed group, AHEAD participants are committed to taking full advantage of the professional and personal development opportunities offered by The Central Exchange.
